Agile20Reflect Festival - An Agile Manifesto Futurespective

To celebrate the Agile Manifesto turning 20 yrs old in February 2021, and in partnership with JPG Associates and the Agile20Reflect Festival, this 'Agile Manifesto Futurespective' event will provide a unique opportunity to be involved with recognised thought leaders from the agile community.

This event will allow attendees to voice their opinions, views, as well as their experiences of Agile Ways of Working over the last 20 years and they will also get the opportunity to discuss what the future holds for Agile moving forwards. It will also give attendees a chance to network and collaborate with others in a global agile community setting.

About our Festival Speakers:

Laura M. Powers -
Talk Title: "Agile: What? So What? Now What?"
Bio: "Laura M. Powers is COO with the Business Agility Institute and Founder of Powered by Teams - a consultancy focused on helping leaders and their teams thrive in the midst of change. She is a recovering project manager who came to Agile for the sticky notes and Sharpies, and stayed for the people."

Geoff Watts -
Talk Title: "Scaling agile has never worked…and never will."
Bio: Geoff is an experienced and passionate servant-leader, who works with bold, forward-thinking leaders who recognise the value in creating engaged, autonomous and creative teams but aren't quite sure how to do this. He offers training and ongoing coaching support to help them develop a culture of reflection and empowerment that helps create productive, mindful and motivated teams.

Brian Marick -
Title: "Agile as a Kind of Post-Scarcity Work"
Bio: Brian Marick was a programmer in the '80s, a testing consultant in the '90s, an Agile consultant in the '00s, a programmer again in the ‘10s, and is not committing to anything until the ’20s settle down. He was one of the authors of the Manifesto for Agile Software Development and is the author of four books.

Jurgen Appelo -
Talk Title: "Mindful Sensemaking."
Bio: As a serial founder, successful entrepreneur, author, and speaker, Jurgen is pioneering management to help creative organizations survive and thrive in the 21st century. He offers concrete games, tools, and practices, so you can introduce better management, with fewer managers. He also offers a platform for you to share your practices and stories with the rest of the world.

Mark Lines -
Title: "Accelerating value delivery with the Disciplined Agile (DA) Toolkit"
Bio: Mark Lines is Vice President, Disciplined Agile at the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is co-creator of the Disciplined Agile toolkit with Scott W. Ambler and co-author of several books on Disciplined Agile (DA). Mark has over 25 years of experience helping organizations around the world to be successful with project delivery using Agile, Lean, Traditional, and Hybrid approaches. He has a record of successfully transforming entire organizations to business agility so that they can rapidly and continuously deliver value to their customers and other stakeholders. Mark is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences worldwide.
