Piotr Penar - Technical Architect, BJSS
True Power of Serverless

Piotr is a Technical Architect for UK's leading privately-owned IT and business consultancy. He is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Cloud Computing. He is a very vocal supporter of DevOps and automation. In his career, Piotr has held multiple technical positions for companies specialising in Marketing, Insurance, Pensions and charities.

Years ago, most of the large organisations were using mainframes, then physical servers after that virtualisation became the obvious choice. Nowadays with the rise of containers and stateless microservices is time to move on again. The talk will cover basic benefits and usage of generally accessible serverless platforms like AWS Lambdas, Azure Functions and Service Fabric Mesh.
The talk will end with a quick demo of Azure Service Fabric Mesh.
