Day 1 - Teams Groundwork

Agenda:
9.00 -10.30 - Session 1 - Teams where we are today - (Jason Wynn / Steve Goodman / Ben Lee)
Teams is one of the fastest evolving platforms that Microsoft have ever produced. This session will bring you up to speed with the latest developments and interesting news, as well as setting the groundwork for the other sessions during the two days.

11.00 - 12.15 - Session 2 - Managing your users for Teams (Brian Reid)
On the surface it can seem easy to synchronise your users with O365, however, there are many choices and pitfalls that can be encountered, not least about how to do this securely. This session will provide guidance, based on real-world experiences, on how to best navigate your options and ensure you have everything shipshape and secured.

12.15 - 13.15 - Lunch!

13.15 - 14.30 - Session 3 - Getting the best out of Exchange with Teams (Steve Goodman)
Most organisations have Exchange already configured in Hybrid with O365 or have already migrated their mailboxes. This session will cover the dependencies and interactions between Exchange and Teams, such as reliance on calendars and O365 Groups. Whatever your starting point with Exchange this will give you pointers on how to get the best user experience you can.

14.45 - 16.00 - Session 4 - Data protection and compliance for Teams (Brian Reid)
Teams is built from the ground up to be a compliant platform and incorporate all of the data protection tooling available as part of O365 due to its use of OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online. These tools are changing frequently and there are overlapping feature sets between the tools. This session will look at how to best configure these options for your company needs and ensure that you can meet any industry best practices or guidance that you have.

16.00 - End Open - Q&A session (All)
Open floor to raise any questions or bring some scenarios for discussion with the speakers / Organisers and other attendees. Think of this as an open consultancy slot!
