Quantum Computing for the Space Sector Hackathon

7 February 2019

London

Added 01-Jan-1970

Following our highly successful Quantum Computing for the Space Sector workshop in November, National Quantum Information Technologies (NQIT) and the Satellite Applications Catapult are excited to announce our hackathon on 7 February in Oxford. At the November workshop we discovered and catalogued a number of industry-relevant challenges across simulation and modelling, optimisation and earth observation data, examining how quantum computing could be used to address such challenges. The hackathon will offer participants the opportunity to delve further and apply their coding skills to propose solutions, as a member of one of our hackathon teams.

You don’t have to have any prior experience of a hackathon. You will have a background in a related field, from either the space sector or quantum computing. You may be from academia, industry or government, all are welcome, the important thing is to bring your knowledge and energy to the day.
