Join us to code and unwine with a community of women, trans, and non-binary coders during this interactive workshop at our New York City HQ in Tribeca. We will be covering HTML & CSS and you'll finish the workshop having built your own functional dog blog from scratch. This workshop makes learning to code totally beer-able and is designed specifically with beginners in mind.
We're excited to grow theNew York City Women in Tech community by hosting an all women event, with a female instructor and female TAs. Light refreshments will be provided!
What you will do:
- Understand how HTML & CSS work and how they are used to create websites
- Build your own dog blog using the skill set you learn in the workshop (no prior experience required!)
- Work with a partner and meet others learning to code over light refreshments
- While this event is free, space is limited & RSVPs are necessary! We recommend bringing a laptop to participate in pair programming as you build your dog blog.
