We are looking for a Head of People to join our global IT & Digital recruitment company. Reporting to the CEO, you will combine hands on training and development with leadership of the talent acquisition team.

There are three key responsibilities of the role, the mission being to ensure Explore Group globally is able to: Recruit, Train and Retain the best talent in the industry to help us achieve our short, medium and long term aspirations.


Budget responsibility for ensuring headcount growth across the four sites by any means possible, working with the other business leaders to ensure they hit the numbers they need. You would contribute to the interview process, hiring strategy and headhunt personally for key hires. In addition, you'll arrange and run assessment days. The TA team will report directly to you and you will collaborate with the marketing team to help you achieve the goals set.

Training and Development

Delivery of our bespoke training programme to all new starters in the business. You will also train future leaders and managers through their careers alongside developing new training material to ensure they are fit for purpose within the market. The business leaders will work closely with you to follow up and assessing the training delivered in the interests of constant development.


Responsibility for maintaining a healthy churn rate, ensuring the group retains the talent it has on board for as long as possible. You will conduct welfare chats, 3, 6 and 12 month appraisals and document follow up actions, guiding individuals through their personal development plans.
