You will begin your career as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and grow up the ranks through to a Business Manager or Principal Consultant, depending on where you want to see yourself. You will start by going through our internal training programme, which will ensure you succeed in your career with the Explore Group.

We aim to be the leading agency in the meetup scene, which means meeting with clients and candidates face-to-face as well, so you will need to be confident with networking and interacting in person as well as on the phone.

We pride ourselves on having a completely meritocratic progression structure, which means you will be rewarded and promoted based on you how well you do and not "who's been here the longest". We encourage our teams to smash targets and break records set by other consultants e.g. biggest deal value, and quickest promotion.

What we offer:

  • Uncapped commission from Day1 to gain the following OTEs;
    • £35K- £45K in year 1
    • £50K - 65K in year 2
    • 75K+ in year 3
  • Basic salary increase with every promotion

This role is suited to those with:

  • Natural Sales ability and mentality
  • Natural competitiveness and experience of working towards targets
  • Information gathering and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work SMART as well as working HARD
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Telephone / cold calling experience would be highly beneficial

The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • Build your own network and which will involve pitching to new clients, start generating leads, winning and writing new business
  • Finding the most suitable candidates that match your client's requirements. So attention to detail and being able to qualify/question is very important!
  • The majority of your time will be spent speaking to clients and candidates, but you'll also get the a chance to attend meetings and networking events
  • Working in a target-oriented environment with a competitive edge to it
