I am working with a company that are disrupting the education market in the fastest and most unforgettable way. They are currently on the lookout for a software engineer specialising in Ruby.

Salary: £50000-£70000 dependant on experience

Come and help

You'll be joining a team in its early stages working in tandem with the CTO maintaining the existing website, whilst adding custom features.

You will also be setting up automated deployment strategies and testing key components of the business improving the business and making it grow.

Are you a curious software engineer that has a drive to learn and is excited by testable clean code? You have contributed to a successful environment and want to be part of a project that is for the future not just for today.

What you'll need

  • Three years' experience as a software engineer
  • Have good experience of using Ruby
  • Have good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
  • Experience with control software (Github, Gitlab, CircleCl, Travis) Continuous Integration tools familiarity (e.g. Gitlab, Docker)
  • Experience using Linux distributions (Ubuntu/Centos)
  • Ability to grasp concepts and requirements quickly with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment
