Senior Python Developer

Hybrid, Central London

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum

They are committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions and they are embarking on an exciting greenfield project that will redefine user experience and streamline operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a greenfield project involving the creation of a client portal using Python 3, Django, and AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers, to design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.
  • Architect, build, and maintain the backend infrastructure, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements using Django templates and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure data protection and privacy measures are in place.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices and contribute to continuous improvement within the development team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django framework is essential.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Experience with AWS services and cloud-based architecture is desirable.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
