Are you looking for a Umbraco Developer Job?

How your Umbraco skills can help you

Umbraco was created in 2000 as an Open Source CMS (content management system) for publishing content capable of running anything from small campaigns or brochure sites to complex applications.  It is written in C# and supports ASP.NET, MVC or Webforms and is deployed on Microsoft based infrastructure.

It is Open Source and supported by a huge and active community of global .NET users yet further help can be provided Umbraco HQ (for a fee).  It is highly flexible and if you’re experienced it can be set up quickly and is especially useful for implementing multiple sites being easy to copy from one site to another.

If you’re looking to get into Umbraco it helps if you’re already an experienced web developer with a good grasp of HTML, CSS and JavaScript otherwise you’ve got a steep learning curve coming up and it can take a while to set up.  There’s also a slight void when it comes to documentation and help

If you’re already an Umbraco Developer you might be interested to know that there has been a big increase (20%) in the Contract market in the last year and that average day rates have increased by 7.69%.  Permanent Umbraco Developer jobs have decreased by 8% but 76% of the total Umbraco Developer roles are still Permanent at the moment.
