APIs for beginners

Have you ever wondered how Facebook is able to automatically display your Instagram photos? Or how Evernote syncs notes between your computer and smartphone? If so, then it’s time to get excited!

We are hosting at our wonderful co-working community partners, Huckletree, at their Shoreditch site.

Here's what you'll do:

👉🏼 We will walk you through what it takes to link different IT systems together, thanks to this common tool called an Application Programming Interface (API)

👉🏼 We will start off easy, explaining the basics of (web) APIs; what they are, how they work, why they matter

👉🏼 We'll use examples of AirBnb, Uber, Timeout and many more, and how API's generate incredible features we use everyday on the web.
