Cambridge Alexa Developers Meetup - MakeSpace Special

14 August 2019

Cambridge

Added 01-Jan-1970

For this special evening, we have moved across the city to the MakeSpace in Mill Lane.

We'll be looking at what Alexa can do when she's not in your Echo device and what people have been up to to make Alexa work in different ways.

We have a really interesting lineup including:

Matt Case - BDM for Amazon Voice Service (AVS) giving us an overview of the other side to Alexa, the Voice Service & illustrating where companies are using it at the moment and where he sees it going - Alexa in your fridge anyone?

Bob will be giving an overview of how AVS works on a Raspberry Pi, and how we can utilise other Amazon, and non-Amazon services to fulfil more extreme use cases.

We have more guest speakers TBC….so watch this space.

If you are a member of Makespace and are planning on coming to the event, could you please make yourself known to either myself or Bob via messaging on meetup.com.

Amazon will, as always be kindly supplying the refreshments & we will head over the road to The Mill after for a beer and to continue the discussions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
