CYBERUK 2018

9 - 11 April 2018

Manchester

Added 01-Jan-1970

The National Cyber Security Centre is proud to present CYBERUK 2018 as the Government’s flagship event for cyber security in the UK.

Over three days, it will bring together over 2000 cyber security leaders and professionals from across the UK’s information security community. There will be participants from Government, the Critical National Infrastructure, Industry academia and the third sector.

CYBERUK 2017 set a new standard for cyber security events. Briefings, keynotes and workshops from the main players in the field combined with a focus on networking, far beyond just swapping business cards over a cappuccino.

For 2018, we’re building on that success. The range and quality of speakers and facilitators will be unchanged, but the level of participation and interactivity will be even higher. Our goal is to develop a programme that moves beyond networking towards building a community with a single, clear purpose: to make the UK the safest place to live and work online.

At CYBERUK 2018, you’ll be able to

  • hear first-hand how the strategy is evolving
  • gain insights on the success to date, and the challenges ahead
  • review the current threat landscape and consider how it will evolve
  • consider how we can best respond
  • clarify the various responsibilities of different players
  • contribute your ideas and challenge thinking
  • understand the importance of diversity in the cyber security industry

Beyond networking

CYBERUK 2018 will feature workshops, challenges and plenty of networking – plus coffee bars and comfy seating throughout the venue. And, yes, that includes the Cyber Games hacking challenges that proved so popular last year.

You’ll find the exhibition hall a very enjoyable place to relax and chat through the collective challenges with your peers. It’s a huge, airy space flooded with natural light – very different to most conference centres.

Three days - Two events - One destination

CYBERUK 2018 is made up of two events over three days.
