Agenda

18:15 - Doors open. Pizza and drinks are served

19:00 - The Way of the Web \ James Nash

The web is inherently unpredictable. While JavaScript is the most expressive part of our HTML, CSS & JS stack, it is also the most brittle.

In this talk I make the case that we should therefore lean on progressive enhancement so that we can build the most resilient and inclusive products for our users.

I highlight some of the browser functionality we can get "for free" with some simple HTML and how that can give us a robust foundation to then enhance with both CSS and JavaScript.

19:45 - TBC \ TBC
