Performance Testing With Gatling and Scala

In last few years performance testing has gone more focussed on load handling capability of the application. The result of load testing governs the kind of infrastructure needed to support the business. In recent times, scala has gained a lot of traction because of it’s concise syntax and its ability to use existing Java libraries, providing the best of both worlds to application development teams. As this talk is about is about performance testing, I will be demonstrating the performance testing tool called Gatling, which in recent times has gained some land because of its amazing reporting structure. You will see how simple it is to create a performance test suite using Gatling and Scala which would be easy to maintain as well as provide easy to understand load test reports.
