What's an "UnConference"?
An unconference is a free-form user group, where we decide as a group, which talks (both full-length and lightning) we would like to listen to. This will be chosen from a selection of talk submitted by members and visiting guests, whether in advance or on the day.
We can also spontaneously organise workshops - so if there is something you would like to learn, you can spend time side-by-side with people who know about a subject!
We have a large amount of space to work with, including the main auditorium and a number of smaller meeting rooms. The venue is fully accessible.
What's the plan?
Please aim to arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 on Sat 9th Nov. We'll provide a danish pastry and coffee. We're not planning to provide an extensive breakfast selection, so if this doesn't sound like it suits you, please arrange your own breakfast beforehand.
We'll make a start to the day with the opening "ceremony" at 9:00 - sharpish.
Between 9:15 and 10:00 we'll plan the rest of the day, as a group.
In true unconference style, we'll arrange a precise time for lunch, on the day. A basic lunch of sandwiches (meaty, veggie, vegan & GF) and soft drinks will be provided.
We'll aim to finish the day at around 17:00
