More and more content creators, distributors and consumers are pushing for the adoption of HDR and it's an excellent time to get involved. With competing standards and implementations, it's important to understand features and tradeoffs. We seek to answer why HDR is worthwhile, to review how to reason about the current competing standards, and to go over the technical considerations for processing and distributing content in the most popular formats today.
