## Geoffroy Gaborieau – The Data Crowd

Geoffroy will talk about how to adjust to a techy world as a designer who doesn't understand anything. He is a Cognitive Design Expert at Teradata.

## Amy Powell – Designing for Innovation

Amy is a corporate illustrator turned information designer. She enrolled as a student on the MA Data Visualisation course at London College of Communication after seeing how powerful Data Visualisation can be in the world of strategy and innovation. She will talk about her journey to data visualisation, its relationship to illustration and some insights from her recent projects.

## Zac Ioannidis – Rethinking Distance

Zac is a freelance creative technologist, working within the fields of data and design. A part of his practice focuses on using human-driven artefacts to create affective and emotional experiences.

He has previously been a data scientist and software engineer for R/GA in NY, Tokyo, and London; while working within interdisciplinary teams he has negotiated the role of data within service design processes.

In this talk he will discuss some previous projects and talk about the nuance and politics of distance in physical and algorithmic space, through the context of an in-progress installation.
