Today’s balkanized “data cathedrals” force us to extract, transform and load data for before use, without means to depend on data we don’t control. We must replace this “cathedral approach” with a data bazaar, allowing us to freely compose, share, and build upon each other’s data the way we do with software today. We’ll explore how content addressing and the distributed web provide the tools necessary to construct a data bazaar. We’ll demonstrate how this data bazaar integrates with existing tools and invite users to contribute to growth of a true data commons.
