Product Manager/Product Owner - Marketing

Fully remote until April 2021 - then 2 days in London office

A Marketing focused Product Manager needed by my client who are an industry leading provider in the biometrics technology across the world. They have successfully built a ground-breaking product which is used by governments, banks, healthcare and several well-known travel providers.

You will be part of a team of three other Product Marketing Managers and will sit between the Marketing/Sales Team and the Technology team to bridge the gap between the two functions for the constant improvement and delivery to market of the product. You will have a focus on marketing whilst the success of the product remains a key component of your role.

Key elements of the role:

  • Developing an understanding of customer's user cases, markets, audiences and sectors
  • Identifying how your product solutions could support partners in existing and new markets
  • Identifying any gaps in our messaging or materials
  • Creating sales and marketing materials and messaging to support promotion
  • Train and support customer facing teams on messaging & optimal use of content
  • Attend and represent the business at events such as conferences, trade shows, webinars
  • Become a product evangelist and SME (subject matter expert)
  • Maintain market & competitor research processes in order to share relevant insights

Experience needed:

  • Creation and delivery of marketing collateral which is tailored to a specific/niche audience across different regions
  • Understanding of how product marketing supports a cloud-based software business
  • Technical understanding - experience explaining technical issues to non-tech individuals in a clear and concise manner by debunking complex terminologies
  • Strong research and analytic skills with the ability to summarise, interpret and present findings


  • SaaS experience
  • Technical competence/skills - cloud, software, agile, scrum
  • Previous experience in the Identity markets
  • Experience working in a highly regulated field such as public sector or healthcare
  • Pre-sales, consulting or training experience
