As the Digital Marketing/Online Marketing Manager, you will be in charge of overseeing the execution of activity range of different channels (mentioned below), getting hands on when needed, but majority of the time setting out and delivering the digital marketing & ecommerce strategy, with activities being carried out by your team.
Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager:
Management of B2C & B2B websites
Management of web development agency
Setting out overall website strategy
Management of existing and new product launches
Management of social media calendar
Regular analysis of social media campaigns, reporting on user engagement, traffic, etc
Oversee the creation of PPC campaigns in line with overall digital marketing strategy
Oversee keyword and bidding strategies
Management of SEO marketing, including content marketing, link building activities, search rankings and website structure
Ensure agency is setting SEO best practices
Identifying opportunities for growth across conversions & traffic
Managing a team of 3-4 people along with Head of Marketing
Ensuring you are setting the right KPIs for the team, and motivating them through appraisals
What it takes to join:
Experience in various digital & general marketing channel-mix (ecommerce, web, email social media, PPC, SEO)
Experience managing and developing a team
Ability to communicate to Senior Management the results of campaign activities
Results and sales driven background
Proven ability to measure against a number of KPIs and improve ROI
Experience within retail, beauty or cosmetics, or a strong interest in this sector
