Business Development Executive - Technology Recruitment

Your role as a Business Development Executive (BDE) is to support the Client Relationship Manager in the development of new business opportunities and grow the revenue of the Explore Group brands.

Working as part of a growing team to increase opportunities, YOU will be a critical member of the overall business, and you'll primarily be tasked with working from your own initiative with guidance from the CRM and Sales leaders.

What you'll be doing:

  • Introduce Explore Group and our brands to new clients
  • Re-engage with historic clients and re-introduce the brand and our work
  • Work with existing clients to expand our scope of work within their business
  • Become an established name in the market through a variety of networking methods
  • Use your experience and skills to find new opportunities to win projects for the group
  • Act as an escalation point for junior consultants
  • Be creative and stay up to date with market trends
  • Work with Senior managers of Explore Group teams to ensure maximum success
  • Develop large accounts/key relationships for CRM or sales leaders to manage

What you have done before:

  • You will already have proven success of working within a Business Development capacity
  • You have experience speaking/selling to different types of clients and up to C-level execs (Face to Face and over the phone)
  • You will ideally have worked within a Recruitment Agency OR in Tech sales
  • Be a natural people's person and enjoy meeting new people and build long lasting relationship (it's not about quick wins)
  • Build rapport with B2B Clients


  • Experience working as a Business Development Exec or Recruitment Consultant in a Technology Recruitment Agency
  • A strong network within the IT/Technology space
  • An interest/knowledge of different IT technologies
