Based in Times Square, New York City. Explore Group are an award-winning Technology recruitment business. We were founded in the UK in 2005 and after great success in the UK market, we have followed the demands of the tech sector and launched in NYC. The opportunity to replicate our UK success is huge, and a motivated and strategic Internal recruiter is the key to building our New York team, alongside our CEO who is spearheading the operation.

The role:

This is more than just an internal recruitment position. The successful individual will be a brand ambassador, networker, strategist and assessor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Manager of the Americas, CEO and global head of People to plan and execute targeted hiring campaigns
  • Hire at all levels for trainees to sales management depending on evolving business needs. Using varying recruitment avenues and techniques
  • Be responsible for candidate experience and share the long-term brand goals, mission and vision with candidates.
  • Take full ownership of the full recruitment cycle from campaign to close and oversee new starter onboarding in alignment with the UK
  • A brand ambassador for explores Group. AS first point of contact we seek someone who lives and breathes our values and seeks them in others too.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 12 months minimum in the recruitment industry, either in an internal or external role.
  • Knowledge of the New York recruitment market, key players, standard processes and a strong grasp of ‘what good looks like’
  • Competent at handling a full end to end recruitment process, including objection handling and strong counteroffer management
  • Self-motivated. As a start-up, the momentum and atmosphere we create come from the first people through the door, you must be excited by the prospect of growing something from the ground up.
  • Organised, there will be multiple roles and stakeholders to coordinate at all times
  • Working closely with marketing on concepts and execution of all campaigns.

We are looking for someone to start ASAP now we have senior management in place, the next step is to build out the team.
