This is a unique opportunity to join a secure and growing business where the Operations manager will have broad responsibility, involvement in local and international projects, be a crucial part of project management for all offices and offers an exciting opportunity to grow and develop in line with the business with no other roles restricting your progression.

The Role

The Operations Manager will report into the CEO, with 2 direct reports being an HR/compliance officer and an IT technician. They will work alongside the Sales Director, Head of People, Finance Manager, Marketing manager and the external accounts.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and controlling change, reviewing new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency and infrastructure management.
  • The Operations Manager will manage all supplier relationships including new/existing contract negotiations, organise events and incentives and manage the HR and compliance process.
  • This person will also be expected to take the lead on GDPR and ensure the business remains compliant by developing relevant policies and processes.


  • 1+ year operations management experience, ideally in an SME. Knowledge of the recruitment sector and New York will be an advantage (but not a prerequisite)
  • Ability to communicate and liaise with various stakeholders
  • Very organised with immaculate attention to detail
  • Solution focused and logical
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR compliance policies
  • Experience in negotiating and renewing contracts with external providers.
