Drupal Developer - Fully Remote

What are they doing and how?

The economic pressure the Coronavirus has caused has had some very disadvantageous effects and put some organisations through testing times, however, on the flip side the climate has caused certain industries to rocket and the reason for exponential growth is due to the high number of people that still require digital services, in fact now more than ever.

My client were established in 2005 and operate today as a leading digital transformation agency that works with global brands such as the Bank of England, Mitsubishi Electric and Cancer Research.

The Role: what is needed?

We are looking for a Drupal Developer on a permanent basis to join our friendly and talented team, you will be tackling interesting challenges for a diverse range of clients to deliver the quality and robust solutions using open-source web technology.


  • Attend client meetings to gather briefs and to communicate ideas
  • Oversee project delivery for a range of clients, from initial scoping, architecture and delivery in Agile sprints
  • Manage a team of developers (onsite/ remote)
  • Run code review
  • Train and mentor junior developers
  • Help our CTO define and enforce quality engineering standards
  • Use forward-thinking DevOps technology and processes for deployments and automated testing
  • Support the QA team to improve process and embrace automation to find & fix bugs during the entire product lifecycle

About you

  • Strong 3+ years of Drupal 8
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (VueJS or similar)
  • Knowledge and experience of management tools such as Jira, git and BitBucket
  • Liasing with clients
  • Collaborating with other team members (developers, designers, marketers, etc)
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Experience mentoring and coaching other developers
  • Laravel (Desirable)
  • PHP (Desirable)
