Back End Developer (PHP)

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days a week WFH)

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

We are seeking PHP developer to join our expanding London based development team on a hybrid basis. All core responsibilities will revolve around the continuous development and maintenance of one of the UKs largest e-commerce platforms, specialising in the beauty space.

You will be joining a multi-skilled Scrum team to work on a wide array of in-house projects. This is a brilliant opportunity for PHP developers early in their career to join a growing and recognised company with strong internal progression and personal development avenues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing the pre-existing in-house PHP back-office application
• Building and maintaining web applications that are deployed company-wide
• Design and build APIs to support both mobile and desktop clients
• Work collaboratively within an Agile Scrum
• Collaborate with Front End developers to integrate user facing elements with server-side logic

Skills/Qualifications

• Prior work experience as a back-end developer (at least 1+ years working in PHP)
• Strong understanding of PHP (object orientation, design patterns)
• Experience with Git
• Knowledge of AWS is beneficial
• Experience creating scalable and manageable applications
• Good understanding of API technologies (REST, SOAP)
• Exposure to or experience within Agile Scrum methodologies
