Open Source has become the technology that businesses of all sizes have begun to build their strategies around.
The days when apps were just built for smartphones is over now and we have a plethora of connected TVs, IoT devices in our homes, location based services, augmented reality, small business, utility, AI embedded and payment apps.
2017 seems to have been the year of DevOps so far but one wonders how many companies have been influenced by the hype without really realising where they should be heading and how.

£250 - 350
A Laravel developer is needed to join an ongoing project for a client of mine based within the Finance and Insurance sector. With a strong development team already in place and deadlines to hit, an experienced Laravel developer is needed to come in and hit the ground running.
The project will include building new functionalities to an existing application along with a lot of API integration and migration.
This client has been let down by a contractor that was supposed to start so are looking to move ASAP with immediate interview availability and to start the following day.
This role will be almost fully remote, needing to go into their West London offices once a week / once a fortnight in order to keep up to date with the development team and the progress of the project.
