Open Source has become the technology that businesses of all sizes have begun to build their strategies around.
The days when apps were just built for smartphones is over now and we have a plethora of connected TVs, IoT devices in our homes, location based services, augmented reality, small business, utility, AI embedded and payment apps.
2017 seems to have been the year of DevOps so far but one wonders how many companies have been influenced by the hype without really realising where they should be heading and how.
Front End Developer - Digital Transformation Project for one of the biggest names in the UK Energy!
An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a number of Front End Developers to join an innovative team on a large-scale digital transformation programme.
Pipe-lined to be at least 12-24 month's worth of work initially, this global giant has invested considerable amounts of money into their tech team (including brand new shiny offices!) with the main goal to create a crack team of engineers and developers to become the heart of their digital hub.
As a team you will be tasked to build out various SPA's for client facing programmes, complex mobile web apps, e-payment systems and gateways and internal/back office re-brands. All of which will have huge exposure and impact on the public and overall brand as a whole!
They have scope to bring on multiple people and the team is likely to triple in size over the next 12 months, so being one of the first on the scene will be an awesome experience. Tech-wise, I don't think you could ask for a better set to play with!
