This is a unique opportunity for a front-end engineer to join a heavily funded, stable, and fast-growing tech subsidiary of one of New York City's longest-standing real estate development / management firms.

They produce a high-quality building management system providing building operators full control of property energy sources. They take pride in connecting in-depth knowledge & data-driven insights from IoT, Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to accomplish the goal of reducing energy consumption.

You will have the opportunity to develop, update, and optimize their already highly acclaimed SaaS product using existing frameworks. You'll be a part of a cohesive team, participating in sprints, making valuable contributions to the technology, algorithms, and products. This will ultimately allow the organization to create effective project plans, execute to completion, and create solutions to meet user needs.

Requirements

  • B.A. in computer programming, computer science, OR equivalent work history
  • 3+ years of commercial level front-end development.
  • Proficient in HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript /React
  • Experience in Node is not essential, however highly desired
  • Strong analytical thinker who maintains composure under pressure.
  • Can work efficiently as an individual contributor as well as on a team.
  • Evidence of completing projects in a timely fashion & pride yourself on flawless execution
  • Strong understanding of the development cycle and programming techniques and tools.

Additional:

The successful candidate must also be comfortable with providing technical training that will support both internal/external teams, support data-driven decisions, as well as participating in continuing education and training to further their skill set even more.

Career Progression:
