Fullstack JavaScript Software Engineer (React/Node)

Mid & Tech Lead / London / Remote

Description

Explore Group is working with a growing FinTech in London (around 250 current employees) and as part of their growth are now looking to hire an additional FS JavaScript Software Engineer and a React Tech Lead.

Responsibilties

• Deliver small projects across a range of initiatives from boosting user engagement to internal business tooling.
• Engineer a better code base with your teams, and help them improve
• Partner with the Engineering team to deliver new projects
• Work within a smaller 8-10 person agile engineering team, part of a wider Engineering organisation
• Work on tickets assigned to you, this includes writing code and specs (tests) and checking that new code passes other test coverage
• Review pull requests from other developers
• Work in a collaborative, agile team environment
• Mentor junior developers
• Directly report to a Tech Lead who will help mentor you and guide your career

Requirements

• Significant commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience working with React.
• Experience working with Node, and serverside JavaScript
• Experience working with XState or similar state management libraries.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design frameworks.
