Head Of Technology - Up to £140K (DOE) - London (Hybrid)

There is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established marketing company with their office being based in London. This role has become available due to the expansion of their in-house technology team and should appeal to the experienced Technology Developer. The role provides true exposure to the commercial development workplace and will allow you to have autonomy of your own work, as well as having the opportunity to truly broaden your skillset with guidance and support.

The Role: Overview

My client has tasked us here at Explore to source them a high calibre, driven individual to head up their technology department. This should appeal to an experienced relevant field developer or engineer wanting to take on more responsibility with the ability to drive performance and manage a dedicated team who play a pivotal role in the business.

Salary & Incentives

• Up to £180K PA for the right individual

Requirements

• Prior experience in a senior software engineering capacity, preferably at the architect level Proven track record of leading a technology organisation of at least 20 individuals 15+ years of experience with at least 4+ years in a management position
• A track record of establishing and growing very effective technological companies
• A history of creating IT plans that are in line with business goals and carrying them out through excellent planning and tactical execution
• Previous experience as an entrepreneur or division lead
• Working knowledge of platforms with high performance and throughput
