A new role has just landed on my desk presenting the opportunity to work for a leading consultancy are offering the chance to work fully remote - 1 day a week on site would be required until out of probabtionary period!
They have just got the sign off on two major projects, allowing the chance to develop new REST APIs using a Microservice Architecture on a Java 8 backend with SpringBoot Frameworks.
What to expect;
This is a crucial role within the business, playing a huge role within the team in order to ensure project deadlines are met while developing to a good standard following TDD methodologies.
As a developer coming into the team, you'd be expected to be a team player, collaborating efficiently with the rest of the small, agile team and pushing for new solutions as a part of this.
The tech stack you can expect to be using is Java 8 along with SpringBoot frameworks and building REST APIs with a Microservices architecture.
Also ensuring to follow SOLID principles and TDD to deliver quality solutions. Alongside this, the company is looking to deploy into more cloud focused work in the near future!
For this role, you would require;
Experience using Java 8 commercially
Experience with Spring frameworks
Experience with REST APIs and Microservices
Experience with TDD - JUnit & Mockito
Salary range for this role is between the £50,000 - £55,000 with some flexibility on this!
