What to expect;
This is a crucial role within the company, as you will be responsible for developing new platforms and features to this E-Commerce search engine where the stakes are high with 1000s of transactions happening every second!
As a developer coming into the team, you'd be expected to be a team player, collaborating efficiently with the rest of the small, agile team and pushing for new solutions as a part of this.
The tech stack you can expect to be using is Java 8 with Java 10 slowly being implemented into the stack along with Spring Boot frameworks and building REST APIs with a Microservices architecture.
Also ensuring to follow SOLID principles and TDD to deliver quality solutions. Alongside this, the company is looking to deploy into more cloud focused work in the near future!
For this role, you would require;
Experience using Java 8 commercially
Experience with Spring frameworks
Experience with REST APIs and Microservices
Experience with TDD - JUnit
Salary range for this role is between the £45,000 - £60,000 mark.
