Journey Planning Developer (JAVA) - 70K - 80K - Remote

Are you familiar with Multi - modal routing platforms ?

I am working with a travel product client which has been constantly expanding to grow to achieve success and ensure that they meet all business requirements.

My clients product is designed to update and inform commuters about travel information. Simplifying the process of checking your daily commute by sending out messages straight to your devices to inform you about any delays you may face as well as alternative routes to take.

Responsibility:

• Work alongside technical directors and other senior members to assist with the customisation of the OpenTripPlanner(OTP) based Multi modal routing platform.
• Working with the wider business to identify what functionalities are needed for the core routing platform.
• Conduct tests using unit and integration to developer complex systems to ensure improvement to data and routing quality
• To be involved in the documentation of processes for improvements as well as new developments

What you will need:

• Previous experience using OpenTripPlanner or Multi-Modal Routing engines
• Solid knowledge of Java/Scala
• Experience Amazon Web Services
• Experience using Git / Integration testing (JIRA)
