QA Engineer - London

I am looking for a QA Engineer to play a pivotal role in driving forwards one of London's hottest tech start-ups.

  • You will have the freedom to create frameworks from scratch, and in time organise QA in the way you see it should be run

  • Over the course of the next 1 - 2 years they are also looking to bring on junior members of the team and naturally they will report into you

The Job

Working closely with the wider product team you will be tasked with developing test plans and cases, creating automation frameworks from scratch and maintaining existing ones as well. Working collaboratively and proactively with developers to eliminate bugs on the front end before it is written as well as performing exploratory testing.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience creating automation frameworks from scratch

  • Solid core java skills

  • These guys work in a highly agile environment, and you'll naturally be communicating closely with internal and external stakeholders so experience in this regard will be helpful

  • You will be given the Autonomy to create frameworks from scratch so, again previous experience in this will be handy

  • You'll come from a start - up culture or just have the mind-set

Desirables

  • Experience with API web services testing as well (SOAP, REST, XML, JSON)
