Java developer - 70K - Hybrid

Responsibility:

As a member of the team, you will be required to deliver quality testable code. To get the best out of this role you will need to have a passion for coding and TDD testing.

Engaging with the business to gather requirements, play an integral role in the collaborative design of solutions and go away to plan and implement solutions.

You will be working on two main projects which will be divided into two parts.

Client-facing application and a back-office application: Client-facing work is driven mainly by client requests, while back-office work combines new functionality with improving and replacing legacy systems. With both systems accessing a single data server hosted on tomcat servers.

What you will need:

• 5 years experience with java
• 5 years using spring framework
• 3 years of solid TDD experience
• 1 year BDD

Experience with any of the following is desirable:

• Hibernate/JPA
• Tomcat
• Jenkins
• Vaadin
• Cucumber
• Maven
• RESTful web services
