Senior Backend Engineer

Full Time - Permanent - Up To £90K

Job Role

My client is undergoing a platform upgrade and are on the lookout for a Senior Engineer who has over 4 years using Node.js. This platform upgrade will extend metrics and provide a range of new data feeds for its users.

The engineer will join a dynamic engineering team, working closely with both the Senior Product Managers and the CTO of the company. This is great time to join the team and company and assist with this exciting upgrade.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews
• Ownership of key technology decisions
• Create detailed documentation

Must Have

• Previous experience using Node.js (3 years min)
• TDD Experience
• Experience working with Restful services

Desirable

• Previous experience working in a scale-up or start-up company
• Understanding of the financial markets
• Previous experience working with WebSocket streaming services
