Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer

Location: Bournemouth (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 (DoE)

WFH: 3-4 days a week

Industry: SaaS/FinTech

Partnering with marketing leading retail finance SaaS providers, we are on the lookout for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a background in PHP. With expansive growth plans as we enter 2022, we are seeking motivated developers who are looking to take the next step in their careers.

Joining us at a Senior level, you will be instrumental in helping to shape the direction of our SaaS offerings to a diverse clientele within the retail space, and we aim to cover aspects of both the FinTech and E-Commerce industries. You will be joining a small but tight-knit team of developers with a big vision that you will aid in shaping. Responsibilities:

  • Writing clean and well-designed code with a focus on security and maintainability
  • Oversee release management to maintain a reliable SaaS offering
  • Contribute to all phases of the SDLC
  • Contribute ideas and vision to add value to our SaaS offerings
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain core databases and products to ensure optimisation and functionality
  • Follow industry best practices

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within PHP software development, ideally making use of the Laravel Framework or similar
  • An understanding of UI design
  • Experience creating APIs (JSON, REST, XML, etc.)
  • Demonstrable experience with web technologies including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Understanding of eCommerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, etc.)
  • Understanding of LAMP stack
  • Good knowledge of version control
  • Passion for coding practices and developing new ideas
  • Existing experience in your own start-up, web venture or projects is ideal
