Senior Java Developer - Help Solve Crimes

My client is an award winning and market leader in providing online services to provide and help the justice systems and lawyers across the world, my client is looking for a senior Java developer to join their award-winning technical team based in London. The role can pay up to £90,000 pa for the senior Java developer. This role will be remote until at least April with the view of being in the office twice a week after COVID.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Java developer to grow with a very well-established market leader. The expectation is for the senior Java developer to be passionate and highly motivated by problems solving as well as being a highly dedicated and enthusiastic towards software development and equally as motivated by the quality of your code.

Key skills required:

  • 6+ years' experience of Java development utilising TDD
  • Experience with building REST APIs
  • Commercial knowledge of Spring framework - Spring boot etc,
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience with containers and container orchestration services
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Having worked with distributed queuing and messaging systems (Kafka)
  • E-Commerce experience
