Senior Python Developer - West London

Location: West London

Salary: Up to £130,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality Python applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex software solutions.
• Work with Rust, if you have experience, to enhance performance and optimise critical components.
• Design and implement micro-services architecture using technologies such as Redis and Kafka.
• Utilise concurrent programming and multi-threading, especially Async.io, to optimise application performance.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Python Developer, with a strong understanding of the language's best practices and design patterns.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with Rust programming language.
• Experience working with micro-services architecture and messaging systems such as Redis and Kafka.
• Proficiency in concurrent programming and multi-threading, especially Async.io.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, including testing, code reviews, and version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in a senior or lead developer role is highly desirable.
