Senior Software Engineer - 70K - Fully remote

Looking to join a specialist affiliate marketing platform team?! Are you a developer who wants to continuously improve their technical expertise, who enjoys being a mentor to junior colleagues and is comfortable contributing to team discussions?

My client is looking for a team of highly skilled developers who can write well-testable, secure, and solid code. Are you confident in your technical stack and able to contribute to the design and infrastructure discussions?

Responsibilities:

• Code developments, Review, refactoring, and innovation.
• Design and build high-volume distributed systems utilising streaming and queueing solutions.
• Work with your team to ensure quality is high and issues are addressed correctly
• Work alongside Product Managers and Owners to convert user stories to features and tasks
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and proactive manner

Must haves:

• 4 years' experience in Java 8+
• Knowledge of SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• 4 years' experience using the Spring Framework, Junit, MySQL
• Strong knowledge of GIT
• Comfortable building microservice applications for AWS
• Automated testing, starting with test driven development
