A LEADING UK Digital Agency have an active pressing need for an experienced Technical Business Analyst for an exciting new project with a Huge International UK Organisation!

Operates across Supporting Crew and Scrum teams

  • Product:
    • Assisting the Product Owner in the formulation of the business vision
    • Modelling the organisation's current and future state in the area of the solution and identifying opportunities, risks and impacts
    • Support Product Owner in definition of KPIs and targets
    • Engage in discovery activities to scope proposed changes
    • Investigate potential ideas to determine the feasibility, viability
    • Identify the end to end implications of processed changes and facilitate understanding within impacted areas
    • Understand system / business end to end
    • Ensuring that the business and organisational implications of day-to-day evolution of the products are properly modelled and thought through
    • Ensuring the impact of business decisions is reviewed in the context of the product delivery
    • Support prioritisation with the use of analytics
  • Solutions:
    • Leading requirement gathering workshops
    • Provide visibility of business rules, domain knowledge and features built
    • Provide subject matter expertise
    • Provide insights and clarity for the ongoing sprint
    • Review the high level solution design and system level requirements
    • Explain requirements and complexities and help in creating stories
    • Connect with development team to balance functional and technical needs
    • Understand functional requirements and break them into high-level user stories
    • Document high-level acceptance criteria or scenarios or stories
    • Accepting and baselining of user stories
    • Write stories in a structured way to reduce queries according to priority
    • Assisting dev team with business case / story throughout sprint
    • Managing development, distribution and baseline approval of all communication related to business requirements and their interpretation, with particular focus on ensuring the prioritised requirements is kept up to date, as the detail expands and evolves
    • Supporting and facilitating unambiguous and timely communication between business and technical participants in the delivery
    • Ensuring the business and technical components of the solution collectively provide a cohesive whole for the business
    • Ensuring the non-functional requirements are achievable and subsequently met
    • Taking responsibility for tracking business requirements through to business acceptance
    • Liaising with the Product Owner in organising support for the solution through implementation into live use
    • Regular communication with dev teams - stories and queries with Functional Leads - change in requirements with PO's
    • Facilitate creation of test data
    • Review test scenarios and results
    • Support prioritisation of requirements with the use of analytics
  • Product Support
    • Engage with business support teams
    • Investigate live issues
    • Work with product team and external teams to drive the issue through to resolution
    • Support the team in issue resolution (live and dev) using analytics
